What do you enjoy most about wealth management?

Combining a lifelong interest in the financial markets while helping people is very rewarding. I enjoy the relationships formed.

What’s the biggest challenge?

Working with clients through tough market cycles is challenging. Maintaining commitment to the investment process or strategy is the "right" course to take but sometimes difficult to stomach.

What do you love most about being part of Next Generation Wealth Management?

Working for an independent firm, with no direct conflicts of interest, is liberating. I enjoy working with a team of people that truly care about our clients and each other.

What qualities of yours makes you best suited to what you do?

I like connecting with people and relationship building. I’m patient and an active listener. I take an even-keeled approach to investing, controlling emotions at market peaks and bottoms.

How should people think about their wealth?

Craft a comprehensive plan for creating wealth, employ stewardship, and don’t obsess about money themes. It’s important to define "wealth" and what it personally means. Planning can achieve the desired objectives and outcomes.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working for Next Generation Wealth Management?

The NGW team is my "last stop" in what has been a successful, rewarding career in managing investment portfolios and delivering financial services to clients.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
Earning a university degree and professional designations while working full-time provided career advancement opportunities I never take for granted. I feel fortunate to perform work I have a passion for. I am a classic example that showing up every day to the office combined with hard work creates opportunities for a successful career.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Spend time with my wife and 2 children, always looking forward to our annual vacation destination. I enjoy socializing with friends. Exercise is a regular routine. Enjoying a play or a live concert is a treat.
